Boat Safe.” Campaign; a multi-faceted 3-year roadway and water safety initiative in conjunction with Lake of the Ozarks local television station, Lake TV, and in collaboration with the statewide “Buckle Up. Phones Down.” Initiative.

The campaign will focus on educating and highlighting the dangers of distracted & impaired driving. Over the last six years, crash fatalities due to distracted driving have skyrocketed over 30%. While last year alone, 500 deaths in Missouri were caused by impaired driving or the failure to wear a seat belt.
Of the 16 Fatal Boating Crashes in Missouri in 2023, at least 8 were alcohol involved and of the 152 Boating Crashed in Missouri in 2023, at least 30 were alcohol involved
